Caucus House makeover madness

So yesterday I was playing around with the theme of the Caucus House and I messed it up completely. I couldn’t fix it… the right sidebar was unusable and in general it was all pretty screwed up. So…. we changed the whole thing. This is glimpse into the future…

We are using Wordpress to host this blog and I have to say that it is a great program. The best thing is its all free! I am using a new theme by Dustin Hedrick called Swirly Twirly but truth to be told, I don’t know whats so “swirly twirly” about it. The awesome artowrk above of the chi was designed by our artistic coordinator Lisa Piaskowy. Looks great, doesn’t it?

The Caucus House strives to be a blog where Chicago Internatinal Model United Nations (CIMUN) staff and delegates from around the globe present their current learnings on international affairs. Like the conference itself, we always emphasize reality. Being in character, no matter what country you are (and especially if you are a powerful country) is one of the key focuses of CIMUN. This blog seeks to give readers the varying and changing perspectives that make the humanity such a dynamic force. If you are a MUNer, we hope that this blog can be a for your preparation as a delegate, or as staff. If you aren’t involved in Model United Nations, we hope that you find this site helpful in guiding your thinking on international relations.

Planning for CIMUN 2007 is already underway - its going to be way better than last years…

Beware!… the Revenge of CIMUN!

    Vic,

I digg the new layout! Excellent decision to change it up, it really gives your site its own personalized character. WordPress is sweet, I am seriously considering a switch. Is it easy to export everything?
